This statement provides a high-level overview of Texode’s compliance approach in the context of payment agency and payment operations services. It is informational and is not legal advice.
2) Risk-based approach
Texode supports a risk-based operating approach. Where required by counterparties (e.g., PSPs, banking partners), Texode may request information and documentation to support compliance checks and onboarding.
3) AML / KYC escalation workflows
Depending on the service scope and partner requirements, Texode may support workflows such as:
- Requesting KYB/KYC/SoW documentation through agreed channels.
- Coordinating information requests from PSPs/banks and relaying required evidence.
- Maintaining structured communication logs and reconciliation references for audits.
4) Sanctions and screening coordination
Texode supports partner screening and escalation processes. Where required, this may include routing cases to the appropriate party and following partner procedures for holds, releases, and reporting.
5) Transaction monitoring and anomalies
Texode supports operational anomaly handling (e.g., unusual payment patterns, disputes, or reconciliation mismatches) and coordinates escalations with relevant PSPs/banks and the principal (client) per agreed procedures.
6) Recordkeeping and audit readiness
Texode supports evidence-ready reporting such as settlement statements, reconciliation logs, and case references, aligned with partner requirements and contractual obligations.
7) Roles and responsibilities
Texode acts as a payment agent and/or payment operations service provider on behalf of principals under written agreements. The principal remains responsible for its own licensing obligations, customer/account management, and regulatory requirements applicable to its business.
